    Our parents cared. No one was so stupid to play THIS kind of game. We did have more intelligent games and we all were creative! But no matter whose house or yard we were playing at, our parents knew we were ok and not doing anything THIS STUPID. If we got hurt, we either got cleaned up at the house we were at or we went home. Just that simple.

    It was a different time

    They cared a hell of a lot more then then they do now. You people know so little.

    Everyday in every kind of weather

    We lived in Michigan in the country, 7 miles from school so I rode the school bus. In my senior, however, a few of us thought it would be fun to ride our bikes for the last couple months of school. It was a 14-mile round trip and a lot of fun until the morning a very large farm dog came charging out of the yard and bit me in the fanny. OUCH!! I continued riding to school because it was finals week and I had an Early Civ exam first thing. I called my mom after I finished my exam. She immediately left work to pick me up to go to the doctor for a tetanus shot. Let's just say she wasn't exactly happy I waited so long to call her. 🙄 That was 46 yrs ago. Cindy Clark Reese 🤣

    Every dam day ..miss those days

    I had to walk always by myself, 7 Grueling Blocks, thru Heavy Winds, Heavy Rains(Downpours), Heavy Snow Storms, Really Cold Temps, too & from School.
